The same platform answers a different question depending on which seat you're in. Pick yours.
Run HR and payroll across four markets without building a compliance team for each one.
Every payroll cycle is a coordination exercise. Labour law, statutory contributions, and reporting cycles differ in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland – and change constantly.
Hermetis holds the regulatory framework of each country inside one platform, so process consistency across the group becomes the condition for compliance, not the obstacle to it.
Three core modules, one platform. Each is configured per country where local regulation
requires it, and shares a single data layer with the rest.
Employee Self-Service is covered separately below.
Employee records, contracts, and organisational structure across all four
countries, in one source of truth.
A separate payroll engine for each country's regulatory framework — Sodra, VSAOI, EMTA, and ZUS handled inside the system.
Schedules, time tracking, and country-specific working time rules, in a single layer connected to payroll.
Employees ask HR the same questions every week — about pay, leave balances, contracts, schedules. With Employee Self-Service, every employee accesses their own record on the web or in the mobile app, in their own language. HR is no longer the helpdesk for routine questions, and the cognitive load that comes with answering them is returned to the team.
Every company needs secure and compliant HR and Payroll
Hermetis is built on one compliance posture — ISO 27001, NIS-2, GDPR, and the four-country regulatory framework — applied to every customer, regardless of headcount. Pricing reflects the structure of your operation. The security and compliance work behind it does not change.
security
EU data residency, ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant in all four markets, NIS-2 ready, DORA controls documented for IT and procurement review.
integrations
Accounting, banking, time-tracking hardware, identity providers. Country-
specific connectors where they exist; scoped integration where they do not.
The figures below are documented outcomes from Kronus, a Latvian manufacturer of 600 employees, who built their business case on an internal calculation of current process costs before committing to the investment.

Year one
The annual administrative cost of their existing processes exceeded the implementation investment.
The project paid for itself before the end of year one.
Calculated against their internal cost of labour and the margin contribution of production employees whose time was previously absorbed in HR coordination.

See how organisations across Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland transformed their HR and payroll.
What you pay depends on the entities you run, the modules you use, and the size of your workforce.
We discuss it in the first meeting, once we understand what your operation looks like.
Hermetis is built on the AGroup heritage – 18+ years of HR and payroll work inside the labour law, statutory reporting, and regulatory cycles of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland.
The platform was developed in the region, not expanded into it. The name means sealed: every process held inside one frame, no compliance gap between countries.

Hermetis is a single HR and payroll system for organisations operating in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland. It runs the full employee lifecycle (hiring, contract changes, terminations), working time and attendance, monthly payroll with country-specific tax engines, and an employee self-service portal all in one environment. Each employee is tied to a Legal Entity, and the system applies that country's statutory rules automatically, so a group running in all four countries works from one console instead of four separate systems. It connects to existing finance and IT systems through a REST API, SCIM, and SSO.
Hermetis is built for both mid-size and multi-entity organisations in the Baltics or Poland that carry complex compliance and payroll obligations, often across more than one country. A lot of customers run payroll for several hundred to a few thousand employees and have outgrown spreadsheets or single-country tools typically enterprises with distributed operations, shift-based workforces, or regulated-industry requirements.
One shared system. The same Hermetis environment hosts every Legal Entity across all four countries, with no separate system per market and no copying data between instances. Each employee belongs to one Legal Entity, and that assignment drives which country's statutory rules apply payroll calculation, tax rates, working-time limits, and statutory reporting. Group-level reporting (headcount, turnover, staffing) draws from all entities at once, while each entity's data still stays within its own country.
Hermetis is built specifically for the payroll and compliance model of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland it produces the actual statutory forms each authority requires (for example VMI and Sodra forms in Lithuania, VID and VSAA in Latvia, TSD in Estonia) and applies each country's tax and working-time rules natively. Global platforms typically handle these four countries through third-party payroll bureaus rather than calculating local payroll themselves. Hermetis is deep in this region rather than broad across many countries, so it suits organisations whose operations are concentrated in the Baltics and Poland.
Implementation runs through a defined methodology with set milestones. We are currently shortening the implementation so that it takes even 3 months. The main drivers are the number of Legal Entities, how complex your working-time arrangements are (standard hours versus shift or summarised accounting), and how many existing finance and IT systems need to connect. A single entity on standard working time is at the short end; a multi-country group with shift workers and several integrations sits at the longer end.
Licensing is based on three things: the number of Legal Entities, the package you choose and the number of active employees. Final pricing is quoted per engagement after a discovery conversation in which your specific scope is mapped.
Hermetis runs on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure (Google EU Cloud) within the European Union, and is NIS2- and DORA-aligned and GDPR-compliant. Each Legal Entity's records stay within its own country's jurisdiction. Access is role-based on a need-to-know basis, every access to and change of employee data is logged for GDPR Article 30 purposes, and retention rules are applied automatically per data category. A high-availability option adds geo-distributed redundancy with automatic failover and a 99% uptime target.
Built for organizations operating one or more Legal Entities in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland — typically multi-entity, mid-to-large employers with complex compliance and payroll requirements across more than one country. Most customers run payroll for several hundred to a few thousand employees. Where it does not fit: organizations with no operations in these four markets, very small employers running a single country only, or organizations needing employment models outside standard employment relationships (civil contractors, board members) as their primary workforce.
